Apex can project manage any size of industrial roofing project. Here you can see just a few examples of contracts that have been completed.
Client: West Drayton
An overseas customer required one of his UK investments totally refurbished.
The old building consisted of a single skin asbestos roof and single skin asbestos vertical gable ends. Apex disposed of the waste via a licensed skip.
The vertical gable ends received an over clad system which consisted of 1.6mm galvanized Z rails fixed to the concrete structure followed by 0.7mm gauge vertical cladding sheets.
All doors were trimmed with plastisol coated steel corner flashings and drip flashings to the door heads to complete the vertical areas.
Apex were contracted by the main contractor to assist with the removal of the roof areas to receive the new TV screens prior to hosting the world cup. Once the roof sheets were removed, cranes lifted the huge gantries into position where they were then bolted to the existing steel structure. Once in place, Apex returned to fit new roof sheets and flashings to leave the areas water tight. Contract period: 2 months.
